Arts, dance, drama and music is a form of psychotherapy, where artistically and creatively, individuals and groups can express and communicate verbally, non-verbally, using a variation of visual and performing arts resources to express and communicate their dilemmas and traumas, that maybe causing them emotional distress and affecting their behaviour.
Arts therapists are trained to work with children, young people, families, adults, vulnerable adults, the elderly, people with a disability, challenging behaviour and people who have been diagnosed with a mental illness.
