“Taking care of oneself is manageable; taking great care is purposeful.” Kaz Jones
Dear Friends.
With a lifelong passion for the performing arts, I’ve come to understand the importance of mental health, wellbeing, and self-care. Reflecting on my journey, I created BAMM: Bennu Ambassador for Mind Matters, empowering children, and young people to advocate for their mental health needs.
I invite you to join Bennu on this journey of positive change.
Warm wishes
Kaz

BENNU’S REASONING
As more young people face challenges like anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem, Bennu recognises the need for positive mental health support. Limited funding in schools, arts, and sports can hinder this, so Bennu is stepping in to help promote accessible strategies for mental health and wellbeing.
BAMM (Bennu Ambassador for Mind Matters) empowers young people to champion mental health, reduce stigma, and build supportive communities. By providing safe spaces, BAMM encourages open dialogue and self-care practices that inspire resilience, confidence, and personal growth. It also offers opportunities to develop leadership, gratitude, and optimism, equipping young people to make a positive difference.
Bennu’s collaborative model is rooted in inclusivity, empowerment, and partnership with schools and organisations, creating a strong foundation for BAMM. Together, we can promote mental wellness creatively, helping young people feel valued, heard, and empowered to shape a supportive culture in their communities.
